About Biological Age
Biological age estimates how old your body actually functions relative to your chronological age, using epigenetic DNA methylation patterns, composite blood biomarkers, or both. A biological age lower than your calendar age indicates healthy aging; a higher biological age signals accelerated cellular aging driven by lifestyle, metabolic dysfunction, or chronic inflammation. Unlike chronological age, biological age is modifiable — improvements in sleep, exercise, diet, and stress management have been shown to reverse it.
